Drawing from the city’s strong Eastern European roots, Shalniev and his team—many also recent arrivals—bring an authentic taste of home through dishes like borshch, flavorful Ukrainian shawarma, and inventive bazaar-style hot dogs.
Each item, served with pride, reflects both heritage and hope, offering locals a culinary connection to Ukraine’s markets and kitchens.
The new eatery isn’t just feeding Edmonton, it’s reviving the local food scene, drawing steady crowds and boosting storefront activity in Station Park.
