Edmonton’s Chinatown will burst with color and culture at the VanBloc Party, a free celebration taking place Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Van Loc on 98 Street NW.
Live music and DJs will fill the streets, featuring both rising stars and established local talent.
Traditional lion dance performances and martial arts demos will offer a window into Chinatown’s deep-rooted heritage, while tai chi sessions invite everyone to participate.
Food lovers are in for a treat with diverse local vendors serving up savory favorites and sweet bites, capturing the neighborhood’s culinary flair.
Highlights include a lively night market on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., where visitors can browse unique goods beneath the stars.
