A new culinary destination is making waves in south Edmonton.
Celebrated Chef Andrew Fung, the visionary behind XIX Nineteen, has opened his dream project, Juu Ku, right next door at 5946 Mullen Way.
The name cleverly translates to “nineteen” in Japanese, but the concept is a world apart.
Juu Ku offers a bold, modern take on Asian fusion, blending Japanese, Chinese, and Korean influences in an adventurous menu that features inventive sushi and creative cocktails.
The stunning interior, often described as a sleek bento box, is elevated by large-scale paintings from acclaimed artist Tim Okamura.
This ambitious opening marks a significant moment for suburban communities like Terwillegar Towne and MacTaggart, bringing a true fine-dining experience to an area hungry for more.
